Marketing Campaign Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Overview

Are you a multi-talented marketing professional who enjoys collaborating across disciplines and doing work that impacts people’s lives? We’re looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager who will be responsible for global marketing and education campaigns; and will report to the Content & Creative Marketing Director. The position will lead the Creative Marketing Team in developing impactful marketing collateral to educate and inspire our audience. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized critical thinker with a proven track record in email marketing, content marketing, graphic design, lead generation, and leadership. What you’ll do

  • Campaign Leadership: Strategize each campaign with the broader Marketing Team. Oversee the campaign’s many moving parts through fruition. Review the team’s deliverables (marketing emails, website content and graphics, brochures, etc.) to ensure the creative and copy meet the goals of the campaign.
  • Project Management: Develop the project plans for marketing and communications campaigns. Create and oversee the project schedule and goals of the team and ensure campaigns are on track. Communicate progress and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Content & Graphics Review: Review all content and graphics created for the website, marketing emails, and marketing print collateral to ensure the messaging meets the strategy and the pieces work within the greater context. Identify problem areas for correction or improvement.
  • Website Oversight: Manage the quality and accuracy of the content and imagery on the website. Work with the team to update and create new marketing collateral for the site as needed. Share ideas with the team for ways to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Analytics Review & Implementation: Use data to drive campaign improvements and influence strategy.
  • Marketing Trends: Keep current with the latest digital marketing trends, specifically within the education and special needs fields.
  • Infrequent Travel: Occasional opportunities to travel to Social Thinking conferences around the country.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, project management, digital communications, professional writing, or related field or equivalent experience. • 4+ years of professional experience in project management, marketing, and writing. • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail. • Ability to develop effective marketing messaging. • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, marketing copy. • Ability to identify what imagery “works” (and doesn’t work) with particular messaging. • Strong eye for design, background in art or design is a plus. • Strong conceptual understanding of math and quantitative analyses. • Ability to effectively lead a team, inspire quality work, and maintain a positive atmosphere. • Ability to maintain a swift, steady work pace without sacrificing quality. • A creative thinker, who enjoys finding new ways to promote our offerings and communicate/interact with our customers.
  • Experience using the following programs is a definite plus: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, JIRA, Monday, Sitecore, Wrike.
  • Background or familiarity in any of the following fields is a plus: education, special education, speech-language pathology, social cognitive therapy, social learning challenges.

Content Marketing Lead

Start Date: Immediately

Overview
As the Content Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content for email campaigns, our website (which is dense!) and print collateral. You will also manage all content and creative updates on the website, and work with the creative and tech teams to ensure the changes are accurate and timely. The role requires a unique mix of creative and educational writing to inform and engage the public in our many strategies and frameworks used within the Social Thinking Methodology, and the many products and services we offer (products, articles, conferences, eLearning, webinars, etc.).

 

What you’ll do

  • Learn about the core strategies and frameworks we teach as part of the Social Thinking Methodology to effectively write about them
  • Develop content strategy with input from the broader team
  • Create, improve, and maintain content for email campaigns and our website to stimulate engagement and increase SEO traffic
  • Collaborate with creative and tech teams to develop messaging and layout
  • Oversee and project manage all content and creative updates on the website, and ensure the changes are accurate and timely
  • Write content for our product catalog and other print collateral
  • Constantly apply lessons from engagement data and campaign results to improve content
  • Stay current on content-related trends in web marketing, SEO and general digital marketing
  • Assist the marketing team with other related projects

Lead Graphic Designer

Start Date: Immediately

Overview

Our company translates abstract social concepts into concrete social learning, both with language and with visual assets. As the Lead Graphic Designer within our small and highly collaborative team, you’ll be responsible for communicating the look-and-feel of our brand and teaching concepts across our website and marketing through your designs and compositions. This position offers a unique blend of designing art for use across channels, designing our marketing emails in creative and thought-provoking ways, and implementing lessons from campaign results to ensure our creative assets are ever improving. This position may also work with our product development team to provide creative assets. The position is in-house, it is not a contractor role.

 

What you’ll do

  • Design, improve, and maintain on-brand artwork for use across channels. We have a fun, lively, colorful brand, so this should be fun! Create new art to translate the complex social concepts we teach into appealing and clever visuals for both marketing and product development.
  • Design the composition of our marketing emails and the artwork featured within. Our marketing emails currently follow a prescribed template for ease, but we’d like to begin using a variety of visual layouts and make them more emotional. We’re looking for a designer who can mix things up in creative ways, see examples of emails we admire by other organizations. We have emotional content that should be intensified by emotional imagery and dramatic composition to create an impact.
  • Apply lessons learned from data into your creations to improve engagement and refine how you explain our teaching with visual elements
  • Maintain high level of organization to manage the job’s many moving parts and deadlines
  • Stay current on email, digital marketing, and graphic design trends and best practices and apply them to your work
  • Be trained to understand Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality, assist with implementing some of these processes within email marketing campaigns.

Marketing Operations Specialist

Overview
As the Marketing Operations Specialist, you’ll work closely with our Lead Graphic Designer and Content Marketing Lead to create marketing emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as operate our many tools and systems to get all sorts of things done. You’ll report to the Marketing Campaign Manager and have an essential role coordinating and contributing to the many moving parts of our campaigns. There’s a lot to be done—you won’t be bored!

 

We are interested in you if you have a keen eye for detail, are passionate about establishing processes and maximizing efficiency, and always strive to take initiative and stay one step ahead. You are a clear and considerate communicator, enjoy getting things done, and value teamwork. And, most importantly, you have a strong interest in marketing, project management, and creating deliverables that impact people’s lives.

 

What you’ll do

  • Create Marketing Emails:
    • Coordinate and program compelling, unique, and responsive email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Using content and designs from teammates, it’s your responsibility to create the emails, optimize them across email clients, own the HTML development, create A/B tests, program emails into Salesforce “journeys”, etc.
    • Analyze customer and campaign data for trends, and constantly apply lessons across emails to improve engagement
    • Create Urchin Tracking Module (UTM) URLS for use in marketing emails
    • Stay current on email, digital marketing, and graphic design trends and best practices and apply them to your work
    • Understand Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality and ensure the customer is receiving the best experience
    • Provide recommendations regarding Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns and process optimization
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and contribute to the many moving parts of our marketing campaigns, including: working with other organizations to promote our campaigns, creating customer heat maps, keeping critical documents up to date and error-free, managing our print materials inventory, updating customer accounts in Salesforce, communicating key marketing deadlines and promotions to the broader company, and much more.
    • Maintain a high level of organization, systematic efficiency, and effectively manage the job’s many details and deadlines
    • Communicate effectively and proactively with team members
    • Travel and assist at Social Thinking conferences around the nation (occasionally)
    • Assist the Marketing Campaign Manager and broader marketing team with other related projects
